i guess its about time i invest in a new mtb hardtail bike, something with bigger frames, 19-20ish inches and equip with disc brakes!! then i can tear up bt timah once more and help clueless bikers who has issues with their bikes =) and some people may think bicycle are actually cheap, THINK AGAIN! they can go over 1K SGD and up to 5K depending on several things.. im thinking of something below that 1K =P maybe 800 bucks and below, hahahaha, something hardy and tough so i wont break it if i do anything stupid like riding downslope at 60km/h and trying to jump off a dirt mound and landing front wheel first =) HAHAHAHAHA
i guess its also about time i invest in a vehicular license.. i would have love a class 4 or class 5 but alas, govt wouldnt like it if a 23 yr old goes on a road rage with a 500Ton crane =) *btw those things are humongous* anyway yeah, i have no issue with the public transport currently except for those buggers who refuse to move into the centre of the mrt cabin during peak hours cos they are afraid they will miss their stop which will after the 10th station or or when they reach an interchange and require to switch train and in their mind, they be the only person to actually switch train and everybody else in the train is just there to prevent that from happening.. YES THAT MEANS YOU. be considerate, my glare at you for just standing there and not moving in means something..
anyway moving on, yes no issues with public transport but i guess i foresee a good future investment in a license.. thus its either class2b or 3.. so why a bike? when its allegely unsafe? cos im still studying, i cant afford a car, my family doesnt have a car, neither will i get any good rate of return in investing 1K SGD +++ in a car license YET. bike is far cheaper, and in an engineering sense, more efficient. so bike now, car later.. can be use for both work *if need be*, school *if i can actually afford one soon* and leisure *if i dont feel the pinch of erp gantries being put up every 10m along the expressway*
in every essence, im approaching a milestone in life =) gonna be 24 damn soon and yeah *also that some of you can stop nagging at me for not having a license =P*
in the words of dave grohl "what if i said im not like the others....you're the pretender!...i will never surrender!!"
