you know that there exist a form of behaviour where, when people are stress they either eat alot or they dont eat at all..it can happen both ways for me and recently, its been the former =) and fyi, out of my entire life, i have never experience eating a whole spring chicken before.. i have seen people eat it, i have seen it being packed or served on a plate but never have i ever actually tried to eat it.
well yeah a few weeks back i did just that.. after my study romp, me and my buddy decided to devour into a whole spring chicken before a soccer match.. but of course, his idea was to share 1 spring chicken between the 2 of us and i thought, he wanted 1 for 1 .. hahaha so yeah, when he ordered 1 from Do & Me, i ordered another one for myself.. not knowing of his intentions..=)
lol 2 whole spring chickens for the 2 of us.. damn man, it was HEAVY.. like wow.. i found my limit in eating and that's 1 whole spring chicken.. though it was Do & Me and it was damn good lah.. 6.50 per plate, its much more worth it than a 3 piece chicken meal at KFC.. no offence =P its more value for money..
besides, Do & Me has been with me since childhood man.. everythng back then was Do & Me and not mac donald, or KFC or BK or what. anyway , here are the pics

GOT SO SICK OF CHICKEN, i didnt eat chicken for like 2 days.. hahahaha 2 days only =P i just love chickens! but i think fish is nicer for me =)

i realize that there are actually strangers who actually read this humble blog of mine.. which is great! ok perhaps they are not strangers but refuse to be indentified by me but its ok as it dont matter, i will still consider you guys as strangers =P.. i guess its time to step up on my blogging soon.. though now kind of busy with my exams..
yeah i hope i can post more stuff.. perhaps it can stay interesting and stuff.. i hope no one find my blog offensive or what in anyway cos its just my way to trash it out with myself.. its where i whine about things that's been in my head..
i welcome anyone who reads my blog and any comment or feedback is appreciated.. its the only way to improve and to know more..

2 weeks back, i went to a place outside to study.. it was a mac donald :) and as usual in the process of studying i like to observe and study people.. and yeah guess what caught my eye?? this
just checked out the pic man.. its food leftover left over by a family.. yes a family, kids with parents.. it may not be much but i think its just horribly messy for people to leave behind it like that.. just cos you will have people to clean up after you, doesnt mean you can eat your food anyhow and leave it anyhow.. there is something call table manners and you practice it, the least, anywhere and everywhere you go, especially a public place such as a fast food joint.. the point im trying to make is not whether its really messy or not, or there are messier mess. its about the how non chalant people can be to just leave it just like that...
what really bugs me is how in that group that left that mess..there were there parents, both mum and dad, who didnt bother to actually do anything about it.. i have seen kids who ate and leave's behind much less mess than that :) and these kids has no parents with them.. just their other friends.. yes they make noise, they run around and such but yeah they are kids.. but they still have table manners.. hmmmmm i guess my upbringing is different from some of the other people there are in the society..
though i dont imply im perfect in any sense.. just that the basic.. back to basic :).

ok, i just had to put this down.. just now, i was watching CNA and they showed about this UN guy who visited Brazil to see their Methanol Plant that basically uses methanol fuel to generate power. ok its all great and all cos its considered a renewable environmentally friendly source of energy for all of us.. compared to fossil fuels and such..
but sad to say, the source of the methanol is from sugar rich plants, such as sugar cane and they have to grow a pretty large amount of these plants to convert it to methanol for usage.. ok now, with this in mind, just imagine, how much food can actually be grown and used for FOOD.. now just imagine those people in africa who are like having food shortages and stuff..
isnt it ironic? well i seem to think so.. its like a crime against humanity itself.. growing tonnes and tonnes of food for fuel and yet, we ourself cant feed those needy with food..

ok, continuation from yesterday's post.. about speed reading.. yeah if there is one skill i want to learn and its only once.. SPEED READING MAN.just imagine how many books and skills and abilities (from books) i can learn and read!! countless. like 3 books in 2 hours, wow! that is like 3 new found knowledge or skills in 2 hours..
ok that is just soo cool! but from what i heard, speed reading courses isnt cheap.. around 2.5K minimum!!! wtf! sial! 2.5K can buy me a good laptop that can last me 3 years? ok lah speed reading can last you your entire lifetie if you, practice it always.. is it practice or practise, haha forget it.
anyone got tips or what? how to speed read? teach me! thanks!

as i am typing this blog now, i am actually at mac donald science centre on a public holiday studying my material science and my maths2.. lol.. talk about hard core eh, where you are actually really hard at work while everybody else is hard at play.. well what can i say, i just spent 5 hours plus straight studying.. soon im gonna slack at al ameen and eat upon which, i will continue with my work at home..
the science centre looks like a cool place to hang out now, well nothing much changed on the outside but im not sure about the inside.. is there new stuff to look at ? i dont know man but damnnn im tempted to pay that 6 bucks to go in and just be a kid once more.. hahaha. kinda freaky right? what kind of kid who would wanna slack at science centre? well there are alot of cool stuff and cool info you can get from this place.. seriously!
i know i sound like a geek now but yeah that's what i am i guess.. since the day i borrowed my first book at the school library, the day i got caught by my teacher for reading a book during his lesson and till now =) ok maybe it isnt that extreme but if i can wish for 1 skill out of sooooooooooooooooooo many skills and knowledge out there that can be taught to me, i want to learn how to SPEED READ!! just imagine the amount of stuff i can read and learn!!

tomorrow is deepavali, so public holiday, so no school =P like as if it will make much difference when you know that the exams is coming in a week's time and the last thing you should do is party your arse off ! =P ok perhaps you can chill out abit, slow down to take some breather from the hectic life =)... even kenyan marathon runners need to stop and walk at some point of their run.
going on and on wont help you much because there is just so much you can accomplish or try to do within a period of time.. i learnt in Kinetics of material, in a simple 3 level energy system where a particle can achieve 3 different kind of quanta level, let it be 0, 1 and 2. and the probability of the particle to achieve any kind of quanta level as temperature goes higher and higher is 1/3. 1/3 for each level..
at first us students thought that as temperature approaches, the particle should be able to achieve quanta level 2 easily because being more in energy and all. but no. the most you do is add your chances of achieving that at 1 out of 3 chances.. and this is for something so basic and simple as a single particle that could be that electron on the window grill to the atom in your body..which goes to show that in life, doesnt mean the more work/more stuff you addd into whatever you trying to do, in the hope you can achieve more/better, it dont exactly lead to that.. things isnt so straight forward sometimes and it isnt so difficult too.
right now, im taking a short break from reading on HRM and i realize how much stuff i have to read on.. imagine trying to go through a 36 hrs worth lecture that is conducted 3 hrs per week within a few days? LOL its nearly suicide i tell you! but yeah, as mmuch as i should carry on studying, i must stop, take a break *blog* and then later, carry on.

to some, certain things were never rocket science and its just a simple matter of keeping it easy.. like for example, making coffee is by right a simple process that is far from rocket science.. but think about it, look at barrista who had to undergo like a month training to be proficiency at making coffee/tea.. how hot the water must be so that the oil from the bean can effectively extracted, how fine the beans must be grind and such so that there isnt too much or too little being extracted.. this are all science my friend..like it or not, there are always reasons (scientific) behind doing it, well generally anyways..
same goes for the aged old game of attraction..ok i will come clean, im not the sort who tends to view these stuff simply but instead, take a analytic approach as how an engineer or a scientist would do to a problem =) of course, the issue was never a problem except the fact that, when it comes to member of the female species, they are never so forward with things.. soo to counter this situation i think all guys faces, i approach it analytically...dont worry, i tend to do alot of things analytically =) cos its just me being me..
of course ppl will question, what kind of analysis? i say, things like where does the girl stay, what kind of characteristic behaviour she is, did she just called me or i had to call her, how she speaks to me, her body language etc. this are all science, not rocket science per say but stuff involves in human behaviour and such.. like where she stays, can affect the kind of transport needed to sent her back if need be, the buses or train services available for me to go back and such and this affects the money im gonna spent... or or is she a Dominating, Influential, Social or Compromising sort of person? cos different trades, will make her behave differently as a whole.. and you have to react accordingly =P
and yeah, i think it doesnt take much to figure out, someone who is into a analytical approach to things doesnt go well with ppl who are just so indirect with things. cos why? A doesnt mean it will lead to B and there are 22 other ways letters to it.. so yeah, i think its more of a statistical approach.haha but that i leave it to a dude i know in school who has that set of hardcore thinking.. and yeah it doesnt help when the girls i know like to mess around with me/ tease me.. like messing around in a sense, just play mean tricks with me.. cos really, analyzing something like this, i think takes computer iterations and simulations lah..
empirically the formula would be a damn "damn it wont exist" sort ah.. haha oh well
