Have you ever feel the sinking feeling
No matter how much you’re struggling
Breathless and tired, body heaving
As you are leaving

It’s all because of you, the words unspoken
Hope that will never come
Fear that is always around
Hearts are dread and feelings go dead
Tormenting me as time goes by

Confuse as it seems maybe
The answer looks clear to me
Perhaps denial got the best of me
Never really wanting to give in
The hope and struggle just keeps coming in
There is no need to come to me
Or be with me
Just say the things Im hoping to see
Careless whispers, soft mumbling lips

I just need that spark
That bit of fire or any small desire
Complete me and let the heart inspire
